GTA 4 Walkthrough: All Story Missions and Both Endings

Follow Niko Bellic through Broker, Bohan, Algonquin and Alderney. Choose a mission below for practical steps, common failure points and the decisions that affect later events.

How to use this walkthrough

The catalogue covers 91 mission entries, including both final branches. You will not play both endings in one save. Several contacts offer work at the same time, so this is a reading order rather than a compulsory sequence. A mission becomes available when its own prerequisites and phone calls are complete.

Before difficult missions

Buy body armour and ammunition before long assaults. Save in a separate slot before The Holland Play, Blood Brothers, That Special Someone and One Last Thing if you want to compare choices. GTA IV has no GTA V-style gold-medal objectives; completing the required tasks is enough to pass each story mission.

Deal or Revenge?

One Last Thing opens the final choice. Deal leads to If the Price Is Right, the Deal version of Mr. & Mrs. Bellic and A Revenger’s Tragedy. Revenge leads to A Dish Served Cold, the Revenge version of Mr. & Mrs. Bellic and Out of Commission. The ending guides contain major spoilers.

Finishing the story is separate from 100% game completion, which also includes side activities. Brucie’s and Dwayne’s optional story threads are included here alongside the main route.
