GTA VI is scheduled for November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Digital preloading begins November 10. A PC release date has not been announced in the console release information covered here.
Release date and preload
The November 19 schedule replaces the earlier May 26 date. Preloading downloads the installation files before launch; it does not grant early access. The latest announcement specifies local midnight on PS5 and 12 a.m. GMT worldwide on Xbox Series X|S, with storage requirements up to 212 GB depending on the device.

Jason, Lucia and Leonida
The story follows Jason and Lucia through Vice City and the wider state of Leonida. A robbery that goes wrong pulls them into a criminal conspiracy. The trailers show the city, its surrounding communities and the relationship at the centre of the story.
