GTA 6 Reveals Six Radio Stations, Podcasts and Headphones

Grand Theft Auto VI will expand listening beyond the car radio. Rockstar’s October 8 announcement introduces on-demand podcasts and smartphone-connected headphones and earbuds, alongside a preview of six stations broadcasting across Leonida.

Six stations announced

Cocoteo FM covers modern Latin music, including bachata, merengue, dembow and reggaeton. Back Country Radio focuses on country, while AfroBank FM spans African music from older recordings to contemporary styles.

The Chamber 106.6 is the metal station. Flash FM returns as a Vice City pop institution, and Dirty South Classics concentrates on southern rap and hip-hop. These are six featured stations, not a confirmed limit on the full radio selection.

Radio and podcasts work on foot

Jason and Lucia can listen in vehicles or while walking, using headphones and earbuds connected to their phones. The new podcasts are available on demand, separating them from the scheduled flow of a conventional radio station.

The announcement establishes these listening options but does not give a complete podcast catalogue, every licensed song or a detailed interface walkthrough. Those gaps should not be filled with an unofficial track list.

Radio is separate from the soundtrack album

The stations sit alongside GTA VI: The Album, a collection of 34 original tracks. Rockstar also says more information about the dynamic score will follow. Radio programming, the original score and the soundtrack album are distinct parts of the game’s music offering.
