Start with a reliable car
Meet Ray in Belleville Park after his earlier jobs and the opening of Shoreside Vale. Use a reasonably quick car in good condition. The airport journey is timed, so plan the route before collecting him instead of improvising at the first junction.

Use the Porter Tunnel
Ray warns that the bridge is being watched. Take the road tunnel connection toward Shoreside Vale rather than charging across the monitored bridge. Follow the signs and junctions for the airport; a wrong tunnel branch is costly because the countdown continues while you turn around.

Deliver Ray to the terminal
Keep the car under control on the airport approach and stop in the indicated destination with Ray still alive. Avoid unnecessary police attention and do not exchange a mostly healthy car simply for a slightly faster one. The passenger delivery is the priority until the timer has been cleared.

Visit the lockup for your reward
After Ray departs, follow the new instruction to his garage. Collect the supplies and take the special Patriot if you want to keep it. Store it safely for later missions. Its bullet resistance is useful against gunfire, but explosions, fire and an overturned vehicle can still destroy it.
