Choose a car that can take a few hits
Bring a healthy, controllable car to Asuka's construction site. You need enough speed to escape close gunfire without leaving the pursuing vehicle far behind. A fragile sports car can make the turns easy but gives you less room for mistakes under sustained fire.

Identify the trap before collecting a squad
Use the radar markers to locate the Yakuza ambush and the three Cartel cars. Plan a clear approach to the trap, including the final turn. Knowing where to slow down is more useful than starting a chase and then stopping in the road to work out the route.

Lure one vehicle at a time
Approach a marked Cartel squad until it reacts and begins following. Lead it toward the ambush while maintaining a visible, manageable gap. If it falls behind at a junction, slow down somewhere with room to accelerate again rather than driving all the way to the trap alone.

Let the Yakuza finish the ambush
Drive through the trap and give the defenders room to engage the pursuing car. Do not destroy the squads yourself out on the street; bringing them into the ambush is the objective. Repeat the process for the remaining marked vehicles and confirm each has been dealt with before collecting the next.
Key point
Treat this as three controlled escorts with an enemy passenger behind you. A Cartel car that loses you several blocks away has not been delivered to the trap.
