GTA 3 A Drop In The Ocean Walkthrough

Collect the plane's six packages in A Drop in the Ocean, then return them to Donald Love. Plan the landing before the police pursuit gets intense.

Mission walkthrough

Get afloat promptly

Follow the objective to a boat and head toward the aircraft's route. The interception is timed, so do not spend the opening minutes buying ammunition or hunting for a favourite car. Set up your supplies before visiting Love Media, and use the radar to keep the flight path in view.
Follow the falling cargo

Stay behind the plane and steer through the floating package markers as they appear. There are six to collect. Use short corrections rather than spinning the boat around at full throttle; missing a marker creates a longer return journey while the aircraft continues along its route.
Keep moving under police pressure

The wanted level rises during the collection. Concentrate on the next package rather than fighting every police boat. If an approach becomes crowded, make a wide loop and come back with the bow lined up on the pickup. Claude cannot swim, so remain aboard until you have a safe landing.
Bring the cargo to Love Media

After the sixth pickup, return to a usable jetty and transfer to road transport. Move away from the waterfront promptly and follow the destination to Donald Love. Avoid a reckless jump from the boat onto a steep bank: surviving the water collection is only useful if you can get ashore.

Completing this mission opens access to Shoreside Vale. Keep a healthy road vehicle available near your chosen landing point for the final delivery.
