GTA 6 100% Completion: What to Track Before Launch
Pre-release guide · Updated November 5, 2026
A GTA 6 completion run needs a verified checklist, not the GTA V requirements with a new title. The final 100% requirements have not been established here, but several areas of the game already have information worth organizing.
Completion planning by category
- Story progress: keep mission order separate from optional exploration.
- Side content: distinguish encounters and repeatable activities.
- Sports and leisure: record activity completion without assuming every activity is mandatory.
- Wildlife: distinguish sightings, animal study and hunting.
- Collectibles: track the individual collection rather than counting unrelated discoveries together.
100%, achievements and collecting everything
These are different targets. A game can have optional content beyond its completion counter, and platform trophies can ask for tasks outside the main checklist. Use the achievement guide for that separate goal.
A useful first-playthrough record
Keep notes of the objective name, the character, the location and the progress shown by the game. If manual save slots are available, keep separate saves before major choices. These are planning habits, not a claim that particular GTA VI content is missable.
Exact counts, percentages and rewards will be added only when the requirements can be checked. Until then, the links above provide the known information without inventing a route to a completion percentage.
