GTA 6 Collectibles: Animal Study and Collection Guide

The most useful early collection guide begins with the systems already described. Animal study and fishing-related challenges give us subjects to follow, while exact collectible locations and final totals still need verification.

Animal study

Read the wildlife guide for the available information about studying animals and the named species. The total number of species is not automatically the number needed for a completion objective.

Fishing-related progress

The same guide explains catch-and-release fishing and the associated collection information. Do not import Red Dead Redemption 2’s catch locations or cooking requirements into Leonida.

Keep collections separate

Use one checklist for each collection once its rules are clear. A good entry records the item or animal name, area, condition and the progress indicator that confirms completion. If a location is shown only in a trailer, record it as a visual clue rather than marking an objective complete.
