Mission walkthrough
-
Board the hovercraft
Enter the marked Bovver and begin following Lance’s helicopter. The hovercraft responds differently from a car: it can cross water and land, but keeps sliding after a turn. Give yourself room to learn its response before the first tight pickup.
-
Follow the dropped packages
Aim for the package markers rather than trying to remain directly under the helicopter at every moment. The aircraft can move ahead while you line up a collection. Keep its route in view so you know which direction the next drop is likely to take.
-
Correct drift early
Ease off before a sharp change of direction and steer toward the next pickup in advance. If you miss a package, make a wide, controlled return instead of spinning repeatedly around it at full throttle. Check that its marker disappears after collection.
-
Complete the collection route
Continue following the helicopter and collecting the required drops until the mission finishes. Do not abandon the hovercraft merely because the course reaches dry land; it is designed to continue across both surfaces.
Key point
Steer for where the hovercraft will be after it slides, not only where its nose is pointing. Slow approaches make the narrow pickups easier.
