Check the unlock and take off
Complete Home’s on the Range if this Lance mission is not yet available. Enter the marked helicopter and take Lance toward the bikers. Use gentle steering and altitude changes while approaching the first attack position.

Give Lance a stable firing platform
Tilt reduces his balance, and he stops shooting if it falls too far. Level the helicopter before expecting him to hit targets. Position the passenger side toward the attackers and make short corrections between stable firing periods.

Move to the hotel targets
Fly to the next groups around the hotel and its roof. Do not attempt to clear them during a continuous steep turn. Settle into position, let Lance fire and move again only when the next target requires it.

Rescue him through the scaffolding
When the mission changes to an on-foot rescue, fight through the bikers at the building. Follow the ramps between the scaffolding and hotel to reach the higher levels. Clear the remaining enemies and find Lance rather than looking for a normal street-level hotel entrance.
Key point
Lance’s balance meter is a shooting constraint. A level helicopter lets him attack; aggressive manoeuvres can leave him unable to fire.
