Mission walkthrough

  1. Begin the range challenge

    Meet Gonzalez at Leaf Links and start the golf interaction using the button shown by your version of the game. The mission uses a timed swing interface rather than normal weapon aiming. Watch the meter before committing to the first shot.

  2. Set power in the green zone

    Start the swing and press the prompted button again when the power marker reaches the green section. Maximum power is not automatically the correct choice. You are trying to match the highlighted target zone.

  3. Time the accuracy input

    Make the next input when the accuracy marker reaches its green section. Both parts matter: a well-powered shot can still miss if the accuracy input is late. Let the attempt finish before beginning another swing.

  4. Adjust and complete the test

    Use the flight of a missed ball to judge which timing was off, then repeat with a calmer rhythm. Hit the target on the buoy to satisfy the challenge. Completion opens the repeatable golf activity and advances the branches toward Purple Haze and Taking the Fall.

Key point

Treat power and accuracy as two separate timed inputs. Do not hammer the button through both stages.
