Mission walkthrough

  1. Check the business requirement

Finish Brawn of the Dead and make sure you own at least five empire sites. If the story marker is missing, expand your business ownership rather than repeatedly waiting outside Lance’s apartment. Restore health and armour before triggering the defence.

  2. Reach Lance’s position

Travel to the business indicated by the mission. Your gang is defending the other sites, so follow the assigned battle instead of trying to visit every property on the map. Join Lance before the attackers overwhelm his position.

  3. Hold the approach routes

Use cover around the site and shoot the attackers as they arrive. Concentrate on those close to Lance or pushing into the defended area. Reload during brief gaps, and avoid standing beside vehicles that are about to explode.

  4. Finish the remaining attackers

Check the radar after each wave and clear survivors around corners. Do not leave because the street directly ahead becomes quiet. Stay with the defence until the mission result confirms the attack has ended.

Key point

Five owned empire sites are required to unlock this mission. The story guide list alone does not bypass that business requirement.
