Mission walkthrough

  1. Recruit the henchmen

    Take Louise to the recruitment point and follow the on-screen instruction to recruit the marked men. Make sure they are following before driving away. This is the introduction to gang support, not merely a stop at a map marker.

  2. Attack the loan-sharking office

    Travel to Marty’s loan-shark business and defeat its guards. Let your recruits help without standing in their firing line. Keep moving between targets so the defenders do not all concentrate on one stationary position.

  3. Clear the protection racket

    Follow the next business marker and fight the guards outside. Finish the exterior stage before looking for the entrance. Keep some ammunition for the interior rather than spending everything on the street fight.

  4. Complete the takeover inside

    Enter the premises and eliminate the remaining defenders. Wait for ownership to change and the mission result to appear. The business-empire feature and gang recruitment are now available, opening up a separate layer of activities alongside the story.

Key point

A takeover includes the interior clearance. Defeating the street guards alone does not finish this tutorial.
