Prepare for the lockup
Restore health and armour before starting, then take Phil to the marked lockup. The trip turns into a fight on arrival. Keep your combat weapon ready rather than arriving with explosives selected at close range.

Clear the ambush
Move out of the immediate firing line and eliminate Martinez’s marked men. Use the available corners and objects to break up their angles. Watch Phil’s position, and avoid explosives beside him or the truck needed for the return.

Get Phil into the truck
After the attackers are defeated, follow the instruction to leave in Phil’s vehicle. Check that your passenger has entered before accelerating. A stolen replacement vehicle does not satisfy an objective that specifically requires his truck.

Drive out of the pursuit
Head for Phil’s place with as few stops as possible. Pursuers are easier to leave behind on a clear road than in repeated stationary gunfights. Protect the truck from collisions and enter the destination marker to end the escape.
