Mission walkthrough
-
Check the missable missions first
Complete Luigi's Pump-Action Pimp and The Fuzz Ball, plus Joey's Dead Skunk in the Trunk and The Getaway, before accepting this mission. Make a separate save. Advancing now can leave those jobs unavailable on this playthrough.
-
Read Maria's warning
The original instruction points towards a car, but Maria's message changes the plan. Do not enter the trapped vehicle. Follow the updated meeting marker instead of treating the original destination as a compulsory pickup.
-
Meet Maria at Callahan Point
Drive to the waterfront meeting and approach the boat carefully. Avoid overshooting the edge in a car. Join Maria and Asuka for the departure sequence, then use the boat as instructed.
-
Reach Staunton Island
Follow the destination across the water and slow down for the marked landing. Completing the trip opens the next island and its safehouse. Before starting Asuka's first assassination, consider finishing Portland's phone jobs while the Mafia is less hostile.
Key point
The important action is obeying the changed objective. The car is a trap, while Maria's waterfront meeting is the route forward.
