Mission walkthrough
-
Prepare before starting
Restore health and armour and bring strong close-range firepower. A minigun makes the final confrontation easier if you have one, but it is not an unlock requirement. The Firefighter completion reward also helps against flames; the story can still be completed without it.
-
Protect Lance on the road
Get transport immediately when Lance rides away. Attack the cars threatening him while staying close enough to respond to new pursuers. A motorcycle allows forward fire, but leaves Vic exposed; whichever vehicle you choose, avoid shooting through Lance to hit a target.
-
Reach the mansion entrance
At Prawn Island, follow the route to the entrance while dealing with immediate guards. Do not remain in an exposed stationary gunfight outside while attackers surround you. Enter the marked doorway with as much health and armour as possible.
-
Defeat Armando
Keep out of the flamethrower’s reach and use powerful sustained fire when you have a clear angle. Move if he closes the distance and deal with guards that obstruct your escape. The conclusion involving Louise is scripted; the tragic scene does not mean you failed a hidden rescue timer.
Key point
Do not restart because of the ending cutscene. Defeating Armando completes the mission and opens the final preparations.
