Mission walkthrough

  1. Observe the meeting

Go to the marked vantage point and use the binoculars to watch Lance. Keep him in view until the deal changes. When told to help, leave the lookout promptly and head down toward the pier.

  2. Follow the boat from land

Get a vehicle and follow the boat carrying Lance along the waterfront. Keep within the permitted distance rather than trying to jump your car into the water. The pursuit leads you to the ship where he is being held.

  3. Board and free Lance

Use the indicated access to get onto the ship. Fight through the guards, enter the interior and find Lance. Move down to him and complete the untying interaction; standing nearby after killing the guards is not enough.

  4. Recover the cargo and leave

Collect the contraband inside, then return to the deck for the remaining packages. Check for outstanding pickup markers before leaving the ship. Once the collection objective finishes, get off and meet Lance on shore to complete the rescue.

Key point

There are pickups in more than one part of the ship. Free Lance first, then finish the interior and deck collection before returning ashore.
