Take the correct car from the bistro
Drive to Marco's Bistro and identify the marked vehicle. Note its original parking position before taking it. You must return this same car after visiting 8-Ball, so avoid damaging it during the theft.

Visit 8-Ball's garage
Follow the bomb-shop marker and drive inside for the installation. Use a clean route and brake before turns; repeated collisions can create an additional repair trip that consumes the time limit.

Repair any visible damage
If the game says the car is scuffed, take it to Pay 'n' Spray before returning it. A successful bomb installation does not override the condition that the vehicle should look normal when Mike comes back.

Return, arm and leave
Park in the original marked spot at the bistro. Activate the device using the displayed control, exit the car and move well away. Do not remain beside the driver's door or disturb the vehicle after placing it back.
Key point
The easiest time saving is avoiding damage. A careful first trip can eliminate the repair detour entirely.
