Mission walkthrough

Return after SWAT Van Swipe!
The mission replaces the previous Yakuza red-phone job. Restore health and ammunition before accepting; once the attack begins, there is little value in shopping around the district.

Take the rocket launcher
Collect the supplied heavy weapon and head toward the attacking force. Follow the marker across the bridge toward Funabashi rather than waiting beside the cars you must protect.

Separate the infantry threat
Keep enough distance to see the soldiers and tank together. Deal with soldiers who block your firing position, but do not spend so long clearing stragglers that the tank reaches Johnny’s vehicles.

Destroy the tank
Fire from a position with an unobstructed line of sight and room to move. Keep rockets away from nearby walls and vehicles. Continue until the tank is destroyed and the mission confirms success.
Key point
The protected cars are the deadline: intercept the tank early instead of fighting beside the collection you are supposed to save.
