The Time’s Come is the ending in which Franklin turns on Michael. Both options in its final ledge scene lead to Michael’s death, so selecting “save” there does not preserve him. Choose C at the original decision if you want all three protagonists playable afterwards.
Step-by-step walkthrough

Arrange the meeting with Michael
Choose B after Devin’s visit to Franklin. Franklin asks Michael to meet near the satellite dishes off Route 68, then calls Trevor, who refuses to help. Drive to the meeting marker and allow Michael’s phone call and the confrontation to play out.
Michael realises what Franklin intends and leaves in his car. Follow him when the pursuit begins; this is not a mission where a dialogue choice at the meeting resolves the conflict.

Follow the car to the power station
Stay close enough to keep Michael’s vehicle in sight while following the route, including the railway section. Franklin’s driving ability helps with tight turns and traffic, but do not cut so far across the terrain that you lose the intended route.
The chase ends at Palmer-Taylor Power Station. When Michael leaves the car, get out and continue after him on foot. Follow the objective and his last known location rather than searching the entire industrial complex.

Climb through the industrial structure
Pursue Michael along the walkways and climbing route. Use the ladders and access points that lead upward, staying away from unprotected drops. The confrontation resumes on the elevated structure.
There is no gold timer for this mission. You can take a moment to identify the next ladder or walkway instead of risking a fall while trying to cut a few seconds.

Resolve the ledge scene
After the fight, Franklin catches Michael by the hand. The game offers a choice to drop him or try to save him. Dropping him causes the fall directly; attempting to save him leads to Michael headbutting Franklin and falling anyway.
Complete Franklin’s final call and the credits. Michael is removed from character switching in this main save, along with access to his unfinished character-specific activities. Use a separate pre-decision save if you want to return to the original choice.

Common questions
Can the “save” option keep Michael alive?
No. Both ledge choices lead to his death in Ending B. Ending C is the route that preserves all three protagonists.
Will replaying C undo Ending B in my save?
No. Mission replay does not replace the ending state of the main save. Load a save made before Franklin’s decision.
