Follow the architect through the site
Enter the construction area and follow Chip Peterson without immediately creating a disturbance. Put on the hardhat when prompted and use the adjacent lift as he goes upstairs. Keep him in sight so you do not lose time searching the upper floors.
The objective is the briefcase. Other workers and vehicles are distractions unless they directly block the route.

Take the plans and leave promptly
Confront the architect to obtain the briefcase, using the mission’s available threat or takedown options. Collect the plans and head for the exit immediately. If using an elevated escape, have a parachute ready before committing to a jump.
Quick Getaway gives 45 seconds to leave the site. A parachute descent can shorten the route, but landing against a building or jumping without the equipment wastes the attempt. A planned ground route is preferable to an improvised fall.

Choose Fire Crew or Roof Entry
Return to Darnell Bros. and review the planning board. Fire Crew uses Michael’s janitor disguise to plant explosives, followed by a firefighter entry. It requires a Fire Truck and a positioned getaway vehicle. Roof Entry uses a parachute approach and computer download.
Fire Crew takes two gunmen. Roof Entry uses a hacker, gunman and driver. The selection changes the assistance available and the escape conditions rather than merely changing a cutscene.

Choose crew with the escape in mind
For Roof Entry, Taliana is an effective low-cut driver if she has been unlocked; an experienced driver provides an ambulance getaway. An untrained Karim can arrive with a van and leave the crew needing to lose police. Prior heist experience can improve his performance.
A low-cut hacker makes the hacking instructions and visibility support less helpful, but the player can still complete the minigames. Fire Crew risks losing inexperienced gunmen during the damaged-building escape, so use reliable crew if survival is the priority.
