Destroy the Yakuza J-Lab for Elmo. Collect the explosives, clear the guards and use the stairs to escape the generator blast.

Mission walkthrough

  1. Get the supplied equipment

    Pick up the explosives and silenced S-Uzi near City University. Collect both before travelling to the laboratory in Funabashi.

  2. Clear the laboratory approach

    Fight through the guards around the building and continue around the back. Do not assume the entrance group is the entire defence; the route also leads upstairs.

  3. Reach and secure the roof

    Use the stairs to reach the upper area and defeat the remaining guards. Advance in short moves so enemies do not surround you while you search for the planting point.

  4. Plant the package and climb away

    When prompted, place the explosives beside the generators. Follow the instruction to climb the nearby stairs and stay clear until the laboratory explodes.

Key point

The explosives are planted only after the defensive force has been cleared. If the objective has not changed, look for another guard on the upper route.
