Mission walkthrough

  1. Check the bonus mission unlock

This is a post-story Xin mission. Finish Salt in the Wound and complete the Lions of Fo unlock where required by your edition. DS and PSP originally also relied on a discontinued Social Club connection; a fresh save cannot use that old online unlock route today.

  2. Raise the required wanted level

Enter the marked Rhino and attract at least three wanted stars before the displayed deadline. Use the tank’s in-game combat controls and stay in the required vehicle. Do not leave it simply because the police have started pursuing you.

  3. Maintain the diversion

Keep the wanted level until Xin contacts you. Avoid prematurely clearing the stars or abandoning the tank. Read the new email when prompted, because it gives the instruction that ends the distraction stage.

  4. Dispose of the tank and escape

Follow the objective to send the Rhino into the sea, getting Huang clear of it safely. Finish the escape and wanted-level condition as directed. Wait for the mission result before looking for Xin’s follow-up.

Key point

Keep the wanted level until the message arrives. The tank-disposal step belongs after Xin confirms that the distraction has served its purpose.
