Mission walkthrough

  1. Begin the water race

    Board the wet ski and follow the checkpoints to overtake Chan. Turn early on the water and pass through each marker rather than cutting straight toward his boat. The race leads into the scripted ambush.

  2. Switch to protecting Chan

    When the boat fails, stop treating him as a competitor. Attack the Spanish Lords approaching his position and keep his health intact. Avoid firing through Chan’s boat to hit enemies on the far side.

  3. Hold until rescue arrives

    Move to gain clear firing angles while watching for new attackers. Prioritise threats close to the stranded boat. Do not chase one enemy far out to sea and leave the next wave unopposed.

  4. Clear the landing threat

    Defeat the remaining Spanish Lords so the helicopter can rescue Chan. Follow the instruction to check on him when the fighting ends. The mission completes only after the rescue sequence is secure.

Key point

The opening race becomes an escort defence. Once Chan is stranded, his survival matters more than your position on the course.
