Mission walkthrough
-
Collect the shipment
Go to Gonzalez’s lockup, enter the drug van and drive to the deal. The ambush is scripted; you do not prevent it by parking elsewhere or arriving in perfect condition. Follow the next objective once Vic regains control.
-
Use the phone-box lead
Go to the marked phone box to locate the gang. The deadline shown by the game applies to recovering and returning the shipment. Get moving toward the new target rather than waiting for the visual effects to disappear.
-
Retake the van
Defeat the ambushers without destroying the vehicle containing the drugs. Use cover and deliberate aim because the altered view makes target tracking harder. Collect the required vehicle when the objective changes.
-
Return before the deadline
Drive the van back to the lockup. Use steady steering, brake early and rely on the radar to prepare for corners. If you get out during the return, re-enter the van rather than finishing the route in a different vehicle.
Key point
The impaired view is part of the mission. Slow corrections and early braking are safer than oversteering in response to every visual wobble.
