Mission walkthrough

  1. Prepare for a long escape

Drive to the Little Haiti docks with armour and a suitable firearm. Complete both The Bum Deal and Snitch Hitch beforehand if the mission is unavailable. The operation includes a firefight followed by a vehicle escape, so prepare before entering the marker.

  2. Secure the trucks

Eliminate the gang members at the docks while keeping Lance and both trucks intact. Avoid throwing explosives beside the cargo vehicles. Move through the defenders until the objective changes to getting into your truck.

  3. Follow Lance to the bridge

Take the marked truck and follow Lance’s route. Leave braking space behind him and steer around traffic rather than using his truck as a buffer. Keep moving when the helicopter attacks, using the open road to avoid becoming a stationary target.

  4. Finish the crossing

Cross the bridge under fire and continue following Lance until the delivery registers. Watch the road as well as the aircraft: a collision that traps the truck can be more dangerous than a brief burst of incoming fire. Completion opens the eastern districts and their normal connections.

Key point

Do not stop on the bridge to fight the helicopter. Preserve the truck and follow Lance through to the destination.
