Mission walkthrough
-
Prepare before accepting
Bring a sniper rifle or a reliable ranged weapon and arrange fast transport back to Portland. Consider finishing Portland's phone jobs first: after this mission, Mafia gunmen make travel through their territory much more dangerous.
-
Reach the Red Light District
Cross to Portland before Salvatore's departure time. Keep away from the club's immediate entrance so the guards do not spot you early. Choose a position with a clear view of the exit and somewhere to move if the first shot fails.
-
Attack when Salvatore appears
Watch the objective update announcing his departure. A controlled shot while he is on foot avoids the convoy's protection. Do not spend the brief window firing at an unrelated guard while the marked target gets into a car.
-
Intercept the convoy if necessary
If Salvatore escapes by car, follow the marked vehicle and stop him before he reaches the mansion. Use drive-by fire or an interception at a clear stretch of road. The escort cars can box you in, so maintain room to manoeuvre.
Key point
Complete difficult Portland errands beforehand where possible. The mission's lasting consequence is hostile Mafia patrols, not just the immediate assassination.
