Get a car before the pickup
Leave Luigi's club in a suitable passenger vehicle and follow Misty's marker. There is no need for a particular colour or model. Park with a clear passenger-side approach rather than wedging the car against a wall.

Call Misty out
Stop in the pickup area and use the horn when prompted. Wait until she leaves the building and gets into the vehicle. If the marker has not changed, check the prompt and her position before driving away.

Deliver her to Joey
Follow the garage marker in Trenton and stop at the destination with Misty still in the car. The meeting introduces Joey Leone and makes his jobs available alongside Luigi's remaining missions.

Keep track of both contacts
You can now choose between available chains. For a complete run, return to Luigi for Pump-Action Pimp and The Fuzz Ball before advancing to Salvatore's Last Requests later in the Portland story.
Key point
Joey appearing on the map does not mean Luigi's chain is finished. Complete the remaining Luigi jobs before the Portland point of no return.
