GTA Online Hunting Pack: Get Lamar Adds a Smoky Chase
Hunting Pack: Get Lamar arrived in GTA Online on April 17, 2025, putting Lamar Davis inside a burning LD Organics van with rival gangs in pursuit. The remix divides players between protecting the delivery and stopping it before it reaches its destination.
Escort the van or stop the shipment
One side joins Lamar and the Grove Street Families to keep the product moving. The opposing Ballas and Vagos try to bring the delivery to a halt. Smoke affects Lamar’s vision as the chase unfolds, adding the event’s distinctive twist to Hunting Pack’s vehicle-based conflict.
The launch entry point was the Featured Series in Chamberlain Hills. This is a multiplayer Adversary Mode variant, not a new GTA V story mission or a separate single-player campaign.
Launch bonus and weekly challenge
The mode paid double GTA$ and RP through April 23, with quadruple rewards for GTA+ members. Winning two rounds completed the weekly challenge for a Black High Brass Tee and GTA$100,000. Those rewards required wins; simply entering two rounds did not satisfy the stated challenge.
Part of the 2025 April event
The wider promotion included themed clothing, boosted Weed Farm sales and double Street Dealer payments. Vehicle and business discounts also belonged to that week’s offer.
The event window ended April 23, 2025. The announcement is preserved here as the launch of Get Lamar, with its original reward dates kept explicit so the promotion is not mistaken for a current weekly bonus.
