Board Diaz's fastest boat
Go to the jetty and enter the marked boat with Lance. When the race begins, accelerate into open water and look ahead to the next bend instead of steering only by the radar.

Reach the seller ahead of the other buyers
Take a clean line through the waterways. Slow slightly before tight corners so the boat does not slide into a bank or another craft. Correcting a collision usually costs more time than a controlled turn. Follow the marked destination and beat the competing boats there.

Cover Lance on the return journey
After the deal, Lance drives and Tommy becomes the gunner. Focus on the attacking craft and gunmen as they become visible. You have ammunition for the mounted sequence, so the real constraint is preventing enemies from damaging the boat.

Clear threats ahead and above
Watch for shooters on the banks and the aerial attack as the route develops. Shift aim promptly after a target is destroyed. Do not keep aiming backwards at distant wreckage while a new threat is firing from the direction of travel.
Key point
During the escape, the boat's survival matters more than Tommy's usual movement habits. Prioritise the nearest active shooter and keep scanning as Lance rounds corners.
