Take the fire truck
Follow the emergency marker and get the fire truck required by the mission. Drive directly to the burning property. Its weight and turning circle make late braking risky, so set up the final approach before reaching the building.

Position for the water cannon
Stop where the cannon can reach the marked fires without a wall or vehicle blocking the stream. Use the displayed controls to adjust the jet. Driving the truck into the building or spraying its roof generally will not replace aiming at the actual burning areas.

Extinguish all active flames
Work across the fire targets while watching the rescue condition. Keep the stream on a flame long enough to put it out, then shift to the next. Reposition if the spray is clearly hitting an obstruction instead of the fire.

Stop the arsonist
After the fire stage finishes, follow the new target and kill the fleeing arsonist. Do not remain parked with the water cannon once the objective changes. Complete this pursuit to finish the mission and allow the damaged property to be redeveloped.
Key point
First stabilise the fire truck, then aim the stream. Moving and turning continuously makes precise extinguishing much harder.
