Mission walkthrough
-
Cover the moving truck
Use the mission’s firing position to attack Sharks closing on Gonzalez’s truck. Focus on vehicles that are about to reach it, maintaining controlled bursts rather than following one distant target off-screen. Keep your aim clear of the protected truck.
-
React when it stalls
The convoy stops during the route. Clear nearby attackers while Gonzalez is stationary, then destroy the marked roadblock when instructed. Do not continue shooting at the last pursuit vehicle while a new obstacle prevents the truck from moving.
-
Defend the airport entrances
At the airport, protect Gonzalez’s men guarding the entrance. Shift attention when the mission warns that the other entrance is under attack. The defence changes location, so continually check the radar and current objective.
-
Protect the departing plane
If Sharks break through into the airport, eliminate them before they overwhelm the plane. Prioritise the closest attackers and vehicles with a direct line to it. Stay with the final defence until Gonzalez’s escape is confirmed.
Key point
Target priority changes throughout the escort: moving truck, stalled convoy, airport entrances and finally the plane.
