Take control from the van
Go to the van outside the Mendez mansion and begin controlling the Domestobot. Familiarise yourself with changing its active arm. The Comms arm is used for the safe investigation; other tasks require different tools.

Keep up with Armando’s demands
Respond when Armando orders chores such as clearing rubbish. Use the appropriate arm and finish the requested interaction before returning to the safe search. Ignoring these interruptions while trying to solve the code can jeopardise the operation.

Find and open the safe
Use the Comms arm and follow the information that guides you to the safe. At the keypad, enter 8-4-2-3. Confirm the digits carefully instead of repeatedly cycling through random combinations. Once the door opens, the code portion is finished.

Burn the contents
Switch to the lighter arm and use it on the documents inside the open safe. Opening the door alone is not the objective: the bearer bonds must be destroyed. Keep the robot positioned close enough for the interaction to register and wait for completion.
