Mission walkthrough

  1. Break out of the car

Follow the displayed interaction to smash the rear window. The exact input differs between touchscreen and PSP controls. Complete the escape promptly instead of trying to drive the submerged vehicle.

  2. Swim to shore

Once Huang is free, head toward the reachable shoreline. Keep moving toward land rather than circling the wreck. This opening teaches the swimming controls before normal travel begins.

  3. Find transport to Kenny

Take a car and follow the GPS route to Uncle Kenny’s restaurant. Complete any vehicle-entry or ignition prompt shown by your version. Use the radar to prepare for junctions instead of turning only when the destination leaves the screen.

  4. Visit the apartment

After meeting Kenny, follow the new marker to the Cerveza Heights apartment. Enter it to finish the introduction and establish your first safehouse. Familiarise yourself with saving and the PDA before returning for the next job.

Key point

The apartment visit is the final objective. Arriving at Kenny’s restaurant alone does not finish the opening mission.
