Mission walkthrough

  1. Reach the search area

Board the marked salvage boat and sail to the indicated waters. Slow down when the search begins. A controlled sweep makes it easier to interpret the sonar than racing back and forth across the entire bay.

  2. Locate a sonar contact

Use the signal to narrow down a cargo position. Make short adjustments and settle over the indicated point. Do not activate the salvage interaction while still moving rapidly past the target.

  3. Raise all the crates

Complete the lifting minigame for each confirmed piece of cargo. Follow the control prompts for your platform and wait for the recovered-item message. Continue searching until all four cargo pickups are registered.

  4. Return to the jetty

Once the hold is full, leave the search area and sail to the delivery marker. Avoid beaching the salvage boat during the return. Finish the dock interaction to hand over the recovered shipment.

Key point

Stop over a confirmed sonar contact before operating the salvage equipment. Finding a signal and actually raising the crate are separate steps.
