Mission walkthrough

  1. Reach the rescue quickly

    Go to Chan’s location before his health is exhausted. The scene reveals that his car is burning. Follow the new fire-truck marker instead of trying to force him into your current vehicle.

  2. Extinguish the vehicles

    Take the fire truck to the fire and stop where the water cannon has a clear angle. Aim the stream at the active flames, keeping it on each target until extinguished. Reposition if a wall or car blocks the spray.

  3. Enter Chan’s car

    After the fire is out, get into the vehicle identified by the objective. Wait for the rescue stage to register before leaving. The fire truck is the rescue tool, not necessarily the car required for the final return.

  4. Return to the garage

    Take Chan to his garage while avoiding the returning kidnappers. Keep the occupied vehicle intact and use open roads to maintain movement. Complete the garage marker rather than stopping nearby to fight every pursuer.

Key point

Put out the fire before attempting the getaway. On PSP, Parking Pickle also belongs to the progress leading into this rescue.
