Step-by-step walkthrough

Reach the railway siding quietly
Follow Lester’s setup marker to the railway site in the Grand Senora Desert. Find both workers before acting. For Undetected, incapacitate them without allowing the second worker to raise the alarm. A suppressed weapon or a carefully placed shot from outside their sightline gives more control than charging directly between them.
Do not enter an exposed position merely to save a few seconds. Losing the stealth condition cannot be repaired by escaping after the alarm.

Divert the train
Once the workers are dealt with, enter the control cabin and use the prompted track switch. Wait for the train to reach the siding. Follow the character switch into Trevor’s helicopter when the sequence advances.
The target is now the train equipment itself. There is no need to drive the locomotive away or search for a separate road vehicle.

Lift the engine and deliver it
Approach the locomotive slowly, aligning the helicopter’s magnet above its centre. Lower into range and use the displayed magnet control to attach the engine. Gain enough height to clear the tracks and nearby obstacles before accelerating towards Trevor’s airstrip.
At the delivery marker, reduce speed before descending. Release the load when it is correctly positioned; a low, controlled delivery is quicker than overshooting and having to circle back.

Return for the flatbed carriage
Fly back to the siding and repeat the lifting process with the marked flatbed. Bring it to the airstrip and place it at the destination to finish the setup. The gold time of 4:30 includes both journeys.
Use direct flights with enough clearance for the suspended load. Abrupt turns and steep approaches can make the cargo swing, costing more time than a measured approach to the pickup.
