Get Franklin onto the yacht
Leave in Amanda's car and drive towards Pacific Bluffs. When the truck carrying Michael's yacht appears, close the gap from behind. Match its speed and hold position close to the trailer so Franklin can climb aboard. Repeatedly hitting the trailer will not make him board faster.

Protect Franklin
Continue following the truck. When a thief threatens Franklin, aim from the car and shoot the attacker when you have a clear angle. Keep the vehicle aligned with the road while aiming; Michael's on-foot shooting ability is not a substitute for steering during this sequence.

Catch Jimmy, then Franklin
Watch for the yacht's boom swinging out over the adjoining lane. Move beneath Jimmy as soon as he is hanging there and match the truck's speed until he drops into the car. For gold, complete the rescue within ten seconds. Then move back behind the trailer and hold a steady position for Franklin's jump.

Repair Amanda's car
The engine begins to fail after the rescues. This is scripted: you are not expected to catch the yacht before it happens. Follow the new route to Los Santos Customs. After Michael leaves, drive into the workshop as Franklin and select the free repair.

Take Jimmy home carefully
Return to Michael's house without damaging the repaired car. Brake at junctions and use Franklin's driving ability if traffic closes a gap. There is no overall mission-time gold objective here, so this final journey can be slow and careful. Drive into the marked destination to finish.
