Mission walkthrough

Take the police boat
Follow the pickup marker to the dock and board the Predator carefully. Claude cannot swim, so do not jump towards it from an unsuitable height or drive a car off the pier.

Close the gap
Accelerate after the marked boat and take broad, controlled turns. Watch the shoreline as well as the radar. A fast approach that ends with the boat stuck on land loses more time than a slightly wider line.

Line up the forward guns
Point the bow towards the target and fire when the boat is in a clear arc ahead. Make small steering corrections so your shots stay on it. Avoid repeatedly swinging across its wake, which moves your aim off target.

Destroy the marked craft
Continue the chase until the reporter's boat is destroyed and the mission confirms success. Keep space from the wreck and shoreline afterwards. A collision or damaged hull alone is not enough if the target remains alive and moving.
Key point
Use steering to aim the Predator's weapons. A stable firing line is more effective than simply holding the trigger while turning in circles.
