GTA 3 Arms Shortage Walkthrough

Defend Phil's base from the Cartel in Arms Shortage. Collect the available weapons, watch the entrances and keep Phil alive through the assault.

Mission walkthrough

Reach Phil's yard

Drive to the marked army-surplus base and meet Phil. Use the preparation window to identify cover and the weapon pickups. Keep away from parked vehicles that could explode beside you during the attack.
Take a clear defensive position

Choose an angle that covers the incoming approach without exposing Claude to the entire yard. A position near solid cover lets you break line of sight and return fire. Do not stand directly beside Phil if that draws every attack onto both of you.
Destroy the incoming threat

Attack the Cartel vehicles and armed men as they arrive. If using explosives, fire only when allies are outside the blast. Change targets promptly when a vehicle is destroyed so dismounted gunmen do not continue firing unnoticed.
Clear survivors and check on Phil

Watch for remaining marked enemies around the edges of the yard. When the assault is over, approach Phil as instructed to complete the mission and open his weapon sales. Do not leave immediately after the last visible explosion.

Phil must survive. Prioritise an enemy firing directly at him over a distant opponent who has not yet entered the yard.
