Parenting 101 is an optional rescue after Jimmy’s online behaviour leads to him being taken away in a Landstalker. The objective is to damage the kidnappers’ vehicle enough to make them abandon it, then collect Jimmy. There are no gold-medal requirements.
Step-by-step walkthrough

Listen to Jimmy’s call and follow the location
Accept the call and listen to the details Jimmy provides indirectly. He describes being taken towards Banham Canyon in a charcoal-coloured Landstalker. Follow the mission marker to catch up with the vehicle.
Use a car sturdy enough for controlled contact. The rescue calls for damaging the target vehicle, so arriving on foot or in a fragile vehicle makes the pursuit less convenient.

Damage the Landstalker without destroying it
Catch the kidnappers and use controlled impacts to damage their vehicle until they stop and flee. Keep the pressure on the marked SUV while remembering that Jimmy is inside.
Do not use explosives to end the chase. Destroying the vehicle risks the person you are trying to rescue. Once the kidnappers abandon it, stop attacking and approach Jimmy.

Collect Jimmy and complete the drop-off
Let Jimmy get into Michael’s vehicle and follow the destination provided by the mission. Finish the conversation and drop-off to close the event.
The mission does not award a time, headshot or damage medal. A clean rescue is the goal, and there is no need to chase the fleeing kidnappers after Jimmy is free.
Completion checklist

Should I blow up the kidnappers’ car?
