Franklin's first job introduces his driving ability through a repossession run with Lamar. The difficult part is balancing the race with a clean delivery: winning alone will not earn gold if you hit the studio actors or badly damage the car.

Choose a convertible and follow Lamar
Walk to the parking area and take either of the two marked cars. Lamar takes the other. Stay close enough to follow his turns, but leave room to brake when he cuts through traffic. You do not need to force an overtake at the first junction.

Cross the film studio safely
Reduce speed as the route enters the studio. People in alien costumes cross your path here. Activate Franklin's special ability before reaching them, steer through a clear gap and avoid mounting the pavement to squeeze past Lamar. Those actors are the targets of the We Come in Peace objective.

Pass Lamar near the finish
Keep following the route towards the service tunnels near the Arcadius Business Center and Union Depository. Use the left-hand tunnel lane to pass Lamar, with Franklin's ability helping you hold a clean line. Continue into the next tunnel rather than turning away after the overtake.

Lose the police and deliver both cars
After the meeting at the Union Depository, break police line of sight. Use turns and side streets, watching the patrol search cones on the minimap, and wait until the wanted stars disappear. Then take the repossessed car to Simeon's dealership. Finally, get into Franklin's white Buffalo S, wait for Lamar and drive home into the garage.
Gold medal checklist
- Not a Scratch Keep damage to the repossessed car low through its delivery to Simeon.
- Focused Driver Use Franklin's driving ability for at least seven seconds.
- Winner Finish the race ahead of Lamar.

Troubleshooting
Winning the race does not end the vehicle-damage requirement: protect the convertible during the police escape too. If the dealership objective is unavailable, finish losing your wanted level first.
What happens next
Completion awards $250 and the Welcome to Los Santos achievement or trophy. Franklin's home and personal Buffalo S become your starting base for free-roam play. Continue with Repossession at Simeon's dealership.
