Mission walkthrough
-
Collect the disguise
Visit the marked clothing pickup in Little Havana. The outfit is part of Avery's plan, so change before approaching the funeral. The mission requires progress through both Avery's earlier jobs and the opening of the mainland.
-
Approach the funeral
Travel to Romero's funeral parlour and identify the marked gang leader. Move in with a weapon ready, but leave room to return to your car. The surrounding mourners and guards become hostile once you are spotted.
-
Stop the target
If the leader reaches the hearse, pursue it from an offset position. Do not sit directly behind the rear doors: the vehicle can drop explosive coffins into your path. Pull alongside on a clear stretch for drive-by fire, or take a safe shot when the vehicle slows.
-
Leave Little Haiti
After the target is eliminated, follow the escape instruction and get out of the district. Fighting every gang member is unnecessary and can turn a completed assassination into a failed getaway.
Key point
The hearse's rear is a trap during the chase. Leave braking distance and attack from the side whenever the road is clear.
