Mission walkthrough

  1. Learn the first corners

    Start the Malibu Club mission and settle into the Sentinel's handling. Hilary's Sabre Turbo has a speed advantage, so a reckless first turn can create a gap that is hard to recover. Aim through the checkpoints with room to brake.

  2. Use controlled overtakes

    Close the distance on bends and where traffic slows Hilary. A light contact at his rear quarter can unsettle him, but repeated heavy ramming often spins Tommy out too. Take a clear passing opportunity rather than fighting for space beside a wall.

  3. Keep clear of police traps

    The pursuit adds police vehicles and obstacles to the route. Look beyond the next checkpoint for gaps and avoid head-on collisions. If blocked, make one decisive correction instead of repeatedly driving into the same vehicle.

  4. Defend the lead with consistency

    Once ahead, brake early and collect every checkpoint. Do not use a shortcut that misses a marker. Hilary can catch you quickly on a straight, so preserve your speed through the exit of each corner rather than over-braking halfway through it.

Key point

This race punishes crashes more than cautious braking. A clean lap in the Sentinel is more reliable than trying to match the Sabre Turbo's acceleration everywhere.
