Start the rematch
Visit the race marker after the preceding countryside progression. Use the supplied race car and allow the opening scene to finish.

Learn the reversed approaches
Follow the checkpoint route rather than relying on the turns from Wu Zi Mu. A downhill approach can now be an uphill exit, and a safe earlier shortcut may point the wrong way.

Control the rear-wheel slides
Brake while the car is straight and accelerate progressively out of tight turns. Reduce steering corrections on rough ground so a small slide does not become a spin.

Win and collect the story reward
Finish first to complete the race and obtain the San Fierro garage deed through the scene. The deed is a progression reward; you do not drive to the garage during this race.
Key point
The following move to San Fierro still requires The Truth’s farm mission. Winning this race does not immediately relocate CJ to the garage.
