Mission walkthrough

Prepare for the night entry
Start during the available night hours with armour and ammunition. If The Truth refuses because of CJ’s physical condition, reduce his excess fat and return. You must get inside the research complex before the displayed sunrise deadline.

Cross the outer compound
Watch the searchlights and patrols. Stay outside the light beams and avoid disabling too many lamps. Reach the control tower and operate the switch for the blast doors if you remain undetected.

Use the vent if locked out
If the alarm closes the main route, follow the alternative access toward the ventilation grate. Break the grate and drop into the passage instead of repeatedly returning to the locked blast doors.

Find the control room
Work through the corridors using cover. Disable the exterior defences from the control room to make the later escape easier, then continue toward the research area.

Take the keycard
Approach the scientist and collect the access card. Open the launch-bay door and descend carefully, clearing guards on the stairs and lower levels.

Escape with the jetpack
Equip the jetpack at the bottom and ascend through the open shaft above. Fly to The Truth’s canyon drop point, land in the marker and complete the handover.
Key point
An alarm does not automatically require restarting. The vent is the fallback entrance; once inside, the keycard and launch-bay route still lead to the objective.
