Answer Tracey and reach Vinewood Plaza
When Tracey calls for help, accept and follow the marker to her location. Get into her car to begin the search. The event is a family call rather than a permanently available main-story heist marker, so respond while the request is active.
Let Tracey describe the vehicle and follow the search route. There is no need to attack unrelated drivers while looking for the target.

Locate the purple convertible
Drive with Tracey until the purple convertible is identified. Follow the marked target and deal with the driver. The encounter can be resolved without killing him; Tracey accepts that he has received the message.
If you choose a lethal response, the mission can still proceed, but Tracey reacts differently. There is no medal rewarding that choice, so it is not required for completion.

Take Tracey home
Once the threat is resolved, follow the destination back to Michael’s house. Keep Tracey in the vehicle and complete the drop-off. Any police attention created during the confrontation should be cleared so the return can finish normally.
The event has no headshot, time or vehicle-damage medal checklist. Its completion comes from helping Tracey and bringing her back safely.
