Prepare before entering the mission
Bring full health, armour and plenty of assault-rifle or SMG ammunition. Save in a separate slot before starting. If the final marker is absent, finish Cap the Collector first; owning the mansion alone does not unlock this confrontation.

Defend the office safe
Use the office doorway to limit the number of attackers who can shoot at once. Eliminate the men coming up towards the safe and avoid pursuing every enemy deep into the mansion. Keep enough ammunition for the later phases instead of relying on a nearly empty weapon.

Chase Lance to the roof
When the objective changes, follow Lance through the mansion and up the stairs. Clear guards as they block the route, then use the rooftop structures to break his line of fire. Reposition between bursts rather than standing in the open trading damage with several enemies.

Return for Sonny
After Lance is defeated, go back downstairs for the final confrontation. Replenish from accessible mansion pickups if you need them, then use the hall's angles to reduce incoming fire. Focus on Sonny when you have a clear shot instead of getting distracted by every supporting gunman.

Continue after the ending
Defeating Sonny concludes the story. You can continue free roaming to finish optional mission chains, businesses and the separate activities needed for 100%. Completing the finale does not automatically clear those remaining requirements.
Key point
The objectives change the correct position: office defence, rooftop pursuit, then the hall. Staying at the safe throughout the whole mission leaves the later stages unfinished.
