GTA Vice City Naval Engagement Walkthrough

Raid the waterfront deal in Naval Engagement, collect every briefcase and return to Umberto. Expect the escape to move from the water onto the road.

Mission walkthrough

Meet Rico and cover the approach

Go to Rico's boat and let him take you to the exchange. Use the firing position to eliminate the gunmen on the opposing boats. Change targets as they fall so surviving enemies do not keep shooting while you fire into an empty craft.
Clear the waterfront

Once ashore, deal with the defenders around the meeting area. Use solid objects between Tommy and the gunmen, then advance towards the marked packages. Avoid stepping off a low dock while aiming at someone across the water.
Collect all the briefcases

Walk over every required pickup and check that its marker disappears. A single missed case prevents the return objective from completing. The escape sequence can remove your original boat option, so locate a route back to the road.
Return to Café Robina

Take an intact civilian vehicle and drive the cash and drugs back to Umberto. A respray can help if police pressure makes the journey unsafe. Avoid unnecessary gunfire on the way, which only adds more pursuit to a completed collection.

Before leaving the waterfront, check the radar for remaining package markers. Returning early with only part of the haul wastes the entire trip.

This mission is optional for reaching the ending, but required for 100% game completion.
