Inspect the apartment
Visit the marked house and approach the window as instructed. Once the thief spots Tommy, follow him onto the rooftops. Do not fire at him: Diaz needs his destination, and killing him defeats the purpose of the mission.

Keep a safe distance on the roofs
Use controlled running for the narrow sections and line up jumps before accelerating. Watch the thief's path rather than trying to jump directly towards his radar blip. A blip shows horizontal position, not whether a wall or drop is between you.

Take transport for the road chase
When the thief leaves in a vehicle, get into the available transport quickly. Follow the marked vehicle without ramming it into the water or shooting it until it burns. Allow space for sudden turns and avoid colliding with traffic while watching the target.

Follow him to Prawn Island
Stay close enough to maintain the pursuit until he reaches the hideout. The objective completes by discovering the location, not by assaulting the building yourself. Diaz's next mission handles the attack.

This is a tracking mission. If you are failing despite catching the thief, stop damaging him and let him lead the way.
